LOS ANGELES PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEYS
Are you looking to sue the Southern California Edison company for negligence in the California wildfire incidence that has cost you your insurance claims?
Do you need a competent California Wildfire Attorney to help get you the justice you deserve?
My name is Martin Kaufman.
I am a Los Angeles personal injury attorney and a California Wildfire attorney representing thousands of residents in the California region that have lost their homes or lives of loved ones to wild fire caused by negligence.
I am an AV rated (highest) lawyer, and have received the honor of being named “Super Lawyer” by my peers for several years.
I possess tremendous experience investigating and bringing claims against public utilities, including Southern California Edison as a result of fire damage caused by their equipment and alleged negligence.
Now the question I get asked a lot is “Can I sue for negligence if my property is damaged in a wild fire”?
An individual or company whose property is damaged in a wildfire can sue the responsible party if the fire was caused by negligence. To prevail on a claim of negligence, the plaintiff must demonstrate the following:
- The perpetrator of the fire had a duty of care to the plaintiff;
- The perpetrator breached that duty; and
- As a result of the breach of duty, the plaintiff suffered damages.
You guessed it right!!
YOU CAN ACTUALLY SUE AND RECEIVE SETTLEMENT BY JUDGEMENT!
When wildfire damage is the result of human error, you have the right to sue. If you believe that the damage you sustained due to a wildfire was caused by a person who was negligent or purposeful, it is highly recommended that you speak with a Los Angeles personal injury attorney about how to proceed with a claim.
My job as a California Wildfire attorney is to hold utility companies accountable for their role in massive wildfires.
Current California law holds utilities responsible for damage from fires ignited by their equipment even if they've followed safety rules.
So, that means if you have been a victim of fire damage, you can hire my services, have your day in court and get full settlement.
WHY HIRE ME?
I have previously litigated against Southern California Edison and recovered substantial monies for his clients for the fires started by their equipment.
You don’t need to dole out the typical larges sum needed to hire the services of an attorney. I only get paid a percentage of the amount recovered for you from the erring party. If there is no recovery, there is no fee.
The Full Package
‘You don’t have to go the extra mile to investigate and bother about the forensics. I will investigate facts and the history of the dispute through a process called “discovery”. Discovery involves exchanging documents and conducting “depositions”.
So, what say you?
Your goal is to hire a qualified California Wildfire attorney, experienced in suing insurance companies and utility companies.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES
In November 2018, the Southern California Woolsey Wildfire swept through the California communities of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Agoura Hills, Bell Canyon, Calabasas and Malibu.
The devastation is next to unspeakable, as over 96,949 acres burned, 1,643 structures were destroyed, 364 others were damaged and several civilians and firefighters were injured or killed.
The fires were among the most destructive the state has ever seen.
It has been reported that electric company Southern California Edison’s (SCE) local facilities are currently under investigation in relation to the cause of at least some of the fires.
The Kaufman Law Firm currently represents plaintiffs who sustained injuries or incurred damages as a result of the fires.
Northern California Wildfires
Fire damages from Northern California’s Camp Fire are estimated to be as high as $13 billion, according to CoreLogic. Residential losses alone may be upwards of $8 billion, with commercial property losses as high as $4 billion. Even worse is the loss of life.
The wildfire, which decimated the Butte County town of Paradise, killed 85 people, burnt 153,336 acres, and destroyed roughly 14,000 homes and 4,800 businesses and other structures, according to Cal Fire.
Pacific Gas & Electric Company, known as PG&E, is accused of negligence which led to the start of the Camp Fire. The Kaufman Law Firm currently represents claimants from Paradise and other Northern California towns and counties that were affected.
Client Reviews and Testimonials
We were in a bad spot and Martin told us what he could do for us, and he did it. We just trusted him and the process and everything worked out.
It's no surprise that Mr. Kaufman is the highest rated lawyer around. He has been a blessing to me and my family. He is skilled, compassionate and patient, but he was still aggressive when he needed to be, and up to the challenge.
Marty and his team got us back everything we deserved...and then some! I don't know what we would've done without him. Thanks again.
